Responsible for performing duties related to the operation of The Business Center, including supporting the copy center, shipping and receiving, loading dock operations and service crew. Operate copy center equipment (e.g., photocopiers, large format printers, laminator, board cutter and binding machine). Process copy center work orders and shipping labels. Perform any and all duties of lower classifications in the same occupational group. Driving the Booth van to make pick-ups/deliveries on and off campus. Display professionalism, a strong sense of customer service, and collegial behavior as this role interacts with the faculty, staff, and students. Assist Service Crew during personnel shortages and as needed.
Responsibilities:
Perform duties and tasks as assigned and approved by the Facilities Services Manager and or the Manager of Shipping and Receiving and/or Booth Facilities leadership staff.
Inspect Booth owned and operated, and Business Center duplication machines daily to stock supplies and perform basic maintenance functions. Report technical issues as needed/required.
Provide support to Copy Center Clerk, processing of copy center orders, operation of copy center machines including but not limited to photocopiers, large format printer, laminator, board cutter and binding machine.Â
Provide support to the mail room operations. This includes operating a postage meter, processing on-line shipping labels for Business Center customers, daily pick-up and delivery runs on campus and to our downtown locations.
Provide support for the Dock Master when coverage is needed for lunches and/or absences
Deliver parcels and equipment by hand or by using hand carts or hand trucks
Pick-up and delivery of incoming/outgoing packages and copy center orders
Operate Booth vehicles and other items of equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with departmental guidelines, immediately reporting accidents or mechanical problems to assigned supervision.
Perform duties and tasks as assigned and approved through the Booth work order system.
Complete assigned work orders within the priority time frame and report back after completion of task
Move and rearrange building furniture and building signage as required for events, emergency, or staffing shortages.
Pack for safe shipment and unpack office contents for faculty and staff in accordance with current procedures and processes.
Night and weekend work may be requested or required on occasion.
This position may also perform duties in the Gleacher Center or other Booth Buildings as needed/required.

Education, Experience, or Certifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.

Business center experience including duplicating, shipping and receiving experience preferred.
Licenses or Certifications:
Valid driverâ™s license required.
Technical Knowledge or Skills:
Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn customized programs required.
Proficient in using Adobe creative cloud preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Frequently perform strenuous physical activity such as lifting, carrying, crouching, kneeling, driving, reaching, stooping and balancing.
Lift and manipulate objects of up to 50 pounds and transport for 50 feet, and push up to a maximum of 200 pounds.
Manipulate and use correctly and safely all associated tools.
Climb ladders and crawl distances and lifts.
Move about the campus in all weather conditions.
Pay Range:
$19.65 - $28.76 per hour.
