Job Description
Our Advisory+ team is seeking a property valuer to join the team and support the growth of our valuation advisory capability. Advisory+ is an APAC business recently established by Cushman & Wakefield, expanding our ability to support the most sophisticated clients on complex projects that move beyond traditional commercial real estate and into the economic, social, financial and commercial issues across broader built environment challenges.
This encompasses both private, corporate social and government infrastructure, including traditional real estate, alternates, sporting, education, justice, and transport assets. We also support our clients in mixed-use development, urban regeneration, and portfolio optimisation.
The valuer will be responsible for supporting senior team members in the facilitation and delivery of valuation advisory services across a broad spectrum of clients. Advising on standalone real estate and infrastructure assets and portfolios across Australia, the valuer will develop and maintain relationships with clients and ensure operational excellence.
About the Role:
Working on diverse valuation advisory engagements, across a range of real estate asset classes and geographical locations.
Providing timely valuation advice both independently and more broadly across Advisory+ mandates for a range of purposes including acquisition and disposal, business case and grant funding submissions and compensation.
Engagement with clients, market research, report writing and responding to requests for proposals, and assist in developing in-depth knowledge within the team across a range of real estate assets classes and markets
Working in collaboration with the broader Cushman & Wakefield organisation to provide a full spectrum of value-add property valuation advisory services and engage in long lasting and trust based partnerships with the clients
About You:
Motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic and passion for learning
Hold relevant tertiary qualification, progressing towards or holding valuer qualification (CPV) and API membership
Exposure across a range of asset classes and experience in core valuation methodologies.
Ability to identify priorities and manage competing demands and deadlines.
High attention to detail and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
