Summer Worker - Tech Support and Packer/Mover Hobart William Smith Colleges
Location: Geneva, NY Open Date: May 09, 2025
Description We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to assist with packing boxes, moving boxes, and furniture during the summer (May 19th - August).
Responsibilities include:
Safely handling items, including technology
Organizing and preparing them for storage or transport
Maintaining a clean and efficient workspace
Assist with reconnecting desktop and classroom technology
Must be able to lift moderate weight and work in a team environment. This is a temporary, full-time position (30hrs/wk). Pay rate is $15.50 per hour.
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and work independently, as well as in a team environment
Reliable and punctual
