Key Responsibilities:
Complete all make-ready tasks to prepare vacant apartments for move-in
Ensure apartments are turned efficiently and meet quality standards
Follow make-ready and punch checklists to stay on track
Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and drywall issues
Replace or fix toilets, light switches, fixtures, garbage disposals, ceiling fans, and more
Install, remove, or rekey door and window locks
Perform interior and exterior touch-up painting as needed
Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
Follow safety protocols and company policies
Communicate with property managers and supervisors regarding maintenance needs
Keep property grounds, common areas, and pools clean and organized
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and team as needed
Qualifications:
Experience in make-ready work or multifamily property maintenance
Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance installation
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Additional Requirements:
Valid driver’s license or state-issued ID
Reliable transportation
Personal hand and power tools
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required

Skills and Experience Needed:

Experience with apartment turnovers and make-readies in the multifamily industry
Background in groundskeeping or janitorial work
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, residents, and vendors
Education and Technical Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and maintain balance
Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various climate conditions
Additional Requirements:
Valid, non-expired driver’s license or state-issued ID
Reliable transportation
Personal hand and power tools
Proper work attire and accessories for different weather conditions and job duties
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required
