Wittenberg University is seeking an Enrollment Coordinator. This organized and creative individual will plan, manage, and evaluate scholarship data loads, application data entry, advise students and families regarding the admission and financial aid programs and processes, and assist with communication management. This is a 12-month, non-exempt-level position, reporting to the Assistant Director of Enrollment Operations.
Essential functions include but are not limited to:
Daily upload of FAFSA and federal aid information to Slate and Colleague.
Daily upload of merit scholarships, special interest awards, referral awards, and other scholarships for new students- data from Slate to Colleague.
Complete data entry for financial aid and admission.
Complete filing and records management.
Assist with mailings and correspondence.
Partner with Financial Aid staff on daily financial aid processing for all incoming and current students via Colleague.
Provide office support by reviewing and responding to email sent to the general admission email address and sending communications to prospective students.
Manage office projects and tasks for 1-2 student workers.
Safeguard confidentiality of student, staff, and university information by exercising discretion in communication and handling of records materials
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Enrollment Operations, Director of Admission, and Director of Financial Aid.
Perform other relevant duties as assigned such as special projects, programs, developmental activities, etc.
Job Requirements:
Requirements include:
A high school diploma and up to one year of relevant work experience are required. An Associate's degree is preferred.
Strong proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office software with the ability and desire to learn additional software applications as necessary.
Experience using or familiarity with Ellucian Colleague (or other student information system), and/or federal and state student aid portals.
Detail and customer service oriented.
Excellent computer and communication skills and the ability to prioritize work tasks.
Ability to utilize computer for extended periods (typically an 8 hour work day).
Ability to routinely move and transport equipment and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
Night and weekend work may be requested as needed for campus events and/or peak processing time frames.
The job duties of this position must be performed on campus.
A valid driver's license is required; must meet required insurance qualifications found in Wittenberg Motor Pool policies and procedures. If license is from out of state, successful candidate will need to obtain a valid Ohio driver's license within 30 days of hire date.
