Under limited supervision, the Event Services Worker performs duties related to the preparation and support of and recovery from scheduled events, meetings, and programs at Bartlett Hall, Ida Noyes Hall, Mandel Hall, the outdoor Quads and the Reynolds Club as well as performing miscellaneous and general duties as described below.
Responsibilities:
Opening Ida Noyes Hall, the Reynolds Club or Bartlett Hall, setting up/taking down, tables, chairs and other equipment in the Market Place and other Reynolds Club, Mandel Hall and Bartlett Hall areas.
Cleaning all assigned areas within and around the Reynolds Club, Bartlett Hall, Ida Noyes Hall and Mandel Hall; performing special cleanings periodically.
Moving furniture and equipment.
Hanging and removing banners from the Market Place.
Occasionally shoveling snow and spreading salt around entry ways, removing trash and recycling from bins, and assisting with the operations of Ida Noyes Hall, the Reynolds Club, Mandel Hall and Bartlett Hall.
Evening and weekend overtime hours will be required.
Performs any and all duties of lower classifications in same occupational group.

Education, Experience, or Certifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Housekeeping experience in an educational environment preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Lift and manipulate objects of up to 75 pounds and transport for 50 feet.
Push up to a maximum of 200 pounds without assistance.
Operate motorized floor care equipment.
Work around dust and cleaning chemicals.
Correctly and safely use all associated tools.
Move about the campus in all weather conditions.
Pay Range:
$18.02 - $21. per hour.
