Groundskeeper Performs routine labor and operates light motorized equipment involved in daily golf course and landscape maintenance and construction; and performs related work as required.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Prepare course setup as needed (cut cups, move tees)
Operates light motorized equipment in mowing greens, tees, aprons, around trees, banks, and hillsides; cleans and edges cart-paths; edges, rakes, and maintains sand bunkers.
Operates light motorized carts for transportation and material hauling.
Maintains fuel and fluid levels for all types of equipment on a daily basis; reports equipment problems or failure to the Equipment Manager immediately.
Returns all equipment cleaned to the designated location at the maintenance facility; and cleans all maintenance areas.
Collects litter.
Helps in project work, grades and prepares soil base, lays sod, excavates and backfills tranches.
May be asked to operate mowers, tractors, or other light equipment.
Ability or willingness to learn how to operate necessary equipment to complete required tasks.
Ability or willingness to work with other departments as needed for the overall success of facility.
Performs other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.

Minimum 1 year of related experience required.
Ability to communicate in English.
Driving skills required.
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to manage others.
Frequent reaching, bending, heavy lifting (50 lbs.)
Ability to operate heavy machinery.
Ability to adapt to extremes of temperature and inclement weather from outdoor working environment.
