We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director, Prospect Management and Data Analytics who will build and manage the processes related to planning, documenting, and reporting on the work of Gladstoneâ™s frontline fundraisers. This includes preparing research briefings, optimizing portfolios, tracking follow up, and generating dashboard reports of the teamâ™s key performance indicators. This role will require a thorough understanding of database best practices, project management methodologies, data analytics, and CRM systems.Â
Responsibilities:
Design, organize, and implement a prospect workflow management system for the Philanthropy team.Â
Build a robust prospect management system and prospect pool geared to maximize Gladstoneâ™s prospect pool in preparation for a campaign.
Build and prepare dashboard reports. Ensures reports are accurate, efficient and reflect the work of the department plans.
Work with frontline fundraisers to identify key prospects and move relationships forward.
Review assigned portfolios and add/remove prospects to create dynamic, well-planned portfolios for each fundraiser.
Partner with Philanthropy Program Associate to design and implement best data practices and use to move key relationships forward.
Track engagement and âœmovesâ for each assigned prospect.
Nominate prospects/donors for inclusion or exclusion in various lists, audiences, etc.
Manage staging and tiering systems in donor database.
Develop a coding/tracking system for donor interests.
Conducts prospect research and prepares briefings.
Performs other duties as assigned or appropriate to achieve the goals and meet the deadlines of the department. Â
Qualifications:
BA/BS preferred.
5+ years database and prospect management experience
Blackbaud and Raiserâ™s Edge expertise required
Experience working in a Philanthropy department and demonstrated experience with portfolio management, prospect research, and donor strategies
Demonstrated ability to design and implement a prospect management system, maintain data, and support frontline fundraisers and institutional leadership
Must be able to influence and manage the work of those who may not be direct reportsÂ
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail requiredÂ
Experience working with a nonprofit research institute preferred.Â
Excellent verbal and written communications skillsÂ
Strong project management skills, including tracking and reporting on projectsÂ
Ability to handle sensitive information
Understanding and demonstrated experience with donor data management principles and practices
Familiarity with terminology, best practices and procedure of fundraising
Experience working in a high-visibility setting requiring professional etiquette and decision-making
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) as well as Asana and Slack and Google Business products (Sheets, Docs, etc.). Â
