Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryPerforms the primary function of protecting property of members of the Washington University community by patrolling assigned areas, providing escorts and motorist assists. The Security Officer conducts highly visible patrols of University-owned facilities and parking areas, as well as public street areas commonly used by students to travel to and from the campus to nearby neighborhoods. The Security Officer reports suspicious activity, persons and conditions; provides escorts; and provides general assistance to students, staff and faculty.
