The University of Minnesota is now accepting applications for a full-time, 12-month tenured or tenure-track faculty position (at Assistant, Associate, or full Professor rank, commensurate with education and experience) in the Division of Dental Hygiene.

The School of Dentistry’s curricula is moving toward a team–based care delivery model and all students participate in multiple community-based clinical practice settings.
Responsibilities include didactic, laboratory, pre-clinical and clinical instruction to dental, dental hygiene and dental therapy students. Additional responsibilities include research, committee assignments, and service.

Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Dental Hygiene, Education, or a related field
Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
Eligible for Minnesota licensure
Clinical practice experience
Candidates must meet the technical standards and essential functions of the position

Doctoral degree
Established line of research
Demonstrated ability to publish in scholarly journals
Academic experience in an undergraduate and a graduate dental hygiene program
