You will be part of the Member Engagement team, whose primary responsibility includes assisting our Members to achieve their strategic goals. We are committed to continuous improvement within our Customer Resource Management (CRM) system. We vet processes, data input, and documentation, ultimately improving the way we do business and enhancing our members' experience.
You will be responsible for supporting the Member Engagement team in a variety of tasks including gathering graphs, services, and contracts in preparation for Annual Member Reviews, generating service reports, refreshing Google Earth information, and collecting public data for large member initiatives. Other duties include gathering a variety of data/information, logistics assistance, working in our CRM system, and helping with in-office lunch set-up/clean-up when remote Member Engagement Managers are in town.
You will be based out of our Ann Arbor, MI location, with the option to possibly work remotely at times.
As the Member Engagement division Intern, this position’s key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Programmatic administrative support
This position will work approximately 10 hours per week, work schedule will be determined by supervisor and may change if necessary. Typical work schedule falls between 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday for most staff.
Requires working in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, cloud-based systems, and AV/teleconferencing software & equipment.

Employee must frequently work at computer station, answer telephone calls, emails, and/or other forms of customer/client communication. Employee may on occasion be required to move items of various sizes and weights throughout the office or building.
Infrequent travel (approximately 2 days per year) within Michigan, to attend off-site meetings, conferences, and events. If travel occurs, Merit will provide transportation to and from the location.
