We currently have an opportunity for a Forklift Material Handler located at our manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY.

Your Role:

As a Forklift Material Handler, you will be responsible for the operation of of a driver-ridden power forklift to move, transport and position miscellaneous materials, products and containers throughout the plant. Run scrap baler, saw off material from drums, load and unload trucks. You will have the opportunity to:

• Make safety your number one priority by driving our safety initiatives
• Inspect the condition of items received
• Assist with the reconciliation of pallet quality issues
• Ensure that all shipments have the proper paperwork and that all documentation is completed

We need you to have:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience using an RF unit
• Prior experience using both sit down and stand up forklifts with the ability to obtain your forklift certification
• Ability to read tapes, rules and weigh scales
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with some nights and weekends

Icing on the cake:

• Previous experience at a manufacturing facility
• Operation of overhead hoists
• Ability to work overtime as needed
