In this role, you will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle liability and bodily injury claims, including those involving litigation. In this position, you will: - Manage an inventory of 70-90 litigated claims files while providing exceptional customer service.
- Travel within your region for weekly mediations and trials.
- Retain and direct defense counsel.
- Utilize your negotiation skills to maneuver claims towards resolution.
Qualifications: - Experience handling litigated commercial truck bodily injury claims.
- Demonstrated success in exercising independent decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation competency.
- Knowledge of evaluating injury exposures.
- Above-average teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
Due to COVID-19, this position currently works remotely. Once conditions change and we are back in the office, the role will regularly report to the Knoxville, Tennessee, office for work.
