The Community Center Program Director is responsible for managing and supervising all programs and activities for residents within the Community Center and Fitness Facility. Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer. Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for providing a safe and adequate program environment conducive to enriching the education experience for residents.
Managers and supervises all programs and activities in the Community Center.
Creates the resident newsletter
Organizes and promotes all programs associated with the Fitness Facility.
Handles all 30, 60, 90-day calls to new residents regarding programs and retention.
Works with staff to develop new programs.
Organizes and promotes all programs and activities scheduled for the Community Center.
Works directly with driver to set transportation schedule.
Handles resident issues and concerns in an efficient and professional manner, reporting all concerns to the Property Manager.
Maintains positive and open communication with the Property Manager.
Responsible for coordinating effective program planning throughout the year.
Responsible for maintaining resident participation and attendance throughout the year through retention activities.
Where required by law, must have state leasing license or ability to obtain the required license(s) within the timeframe mandated by state law
2-year degree in Business, Management or Marketing preferred
Professional appearance and demeanor
Experience working in a supervisory capacity in an afterschool, day camp or youth-based organization helpful
Ability to work collectively with staff, residents and community leaders
Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate sensitivity to others as well as respond to critical incidents and act swiftly in an emergency.
Excellent organizational and managerial skills.
Excellent computer skills especially in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of the community and its resources preferred
Bilingual preferred but not required
A valid drivers license may be required
Ability to work independently and excellent time management skills are essential
Ability to work with a diverse group of people to include co-workers, vendors and customers.
Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Work Schedule: 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional nights and weekends as needed to meet business needs.
