We are family-owned and operated, with 12 stores throughout Washington, Oregon, and Hawaii. This job is located at our Pacific, WA headquarters right off Highway 167 near Auburn, WA. With easy access to year-round recreation, it is great location for those who want to avoid the downtown Seattle commute. The selected candidate will be joining a team that has been in the trucking industry for 70 years and the commercial truck dealership business for over 30 years.
The Service Manager is responsible for the strategic and tactical management of our Service Department in Pacific. The ideal candidate will possess dynamic leadership qualities and communication skills with a record of superior customer service. We are looking for someone who can effectively develop and manage a high performing team to produce best in class results. This critical role requires experience in business and organizational planning, budgeting, profit and loss management, employee mentorship and customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who will apply continuous improvement methods to solve problems and who can work with other teams in the organization to achieve department and company goals. The most qualified applicants will have five to ten years of progressive leadership experience, along with a technical mechanical background. We prefer someone who has led a service department with experience and proven results in strategic planning, people development and execution. You should have a background in providing quality customer service, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment. Our ideal candidate is safety-minded, has the ability to lead positive change and can handle tough decisions with good judgment. This position reports to the Director of Pacific Operations and will oversee a large Service Department with 40+ technicians, service advisors and service leaders.
