Under the supervision of the manager of distribution services, the incumbent is responsible for collecting and delivering the campus' incoming and outgoing mail. Tasks will include: preparing sorting, rating, and metering interdepartmental and UCI Medical Center mail; screening incoming letters and packages; shipping and receiving goods and materials; making deliveries, processing paperwork, maintaining palletized storage and other clerical task as assigned.

Salary: Range $20.23 Total Hours: 6:45am-3:45pm, M-F Career Position. The incumbent must have a valid California driver's license and have a satisfactory driving record. Final candidate is subject to background check and the California DMV Employer Pull Notice (EPN) Program Notification. The incumbent must be able to climb stairs. The incumbent must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. The incumbent must be able to work occasional nights and weekends. The incumbent must be able to work outdoors, year-round, and in all weather conditions. Able to work around moving vehicles on roadways, parking lots, and surface lots. Able to wear department-issued uniform. Final candidate subject to background check.
