The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Transport Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to sick, post operative, and injured children who require a high level of monitoring, treatment, and carein 3 unique settings: the 14 bed PICU at Children's Hospital, the 2 bed PICU at University of Tennesse Medical Center caring for children admitted through their Level 1 Trauma Center Program and on the Lifeline transport vehicle as a skilled member of the Pediatric Transport Team transferring sick and injured children to our facility from across the East Tennessee region.
Minimum Work Experience
Pediatric nursing experience preferred.

Nursing Licensure for State of Tennessee

Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling is required up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20-30 lbs frequently and 10 lbs constantly to move objects of up to 150 lbs. Sudden emergency situations have the potential for exposure to lifting or moving of up to 150 lbs. Frequent bending, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching and standing are required. Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
