Positions: Load Planner and Driver Manager Trucking Company experiencing significant growth in the Northwest New Jersey area is looking for an experienced (1) Load Planner and a (2) Driver Manager. This person will be responsible for formulating the daily dispatch plans for our drivers who operate in the USA and Canada. The successful candidate will have the ability to plan our routes in the most cost effective manner possible. In addition, the Load Planner will be responsible to confirm that driver assignments are transmitted to the driver, ensure that the assignments are successfully executed and that service commitments are met. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: • Plan dispatch activities in the most efficient, cost effective manner possible. • Interact daily with the rest of the Planning team and Customer Service coordinating and managing our fleet's dispatch assignments. Being a team player is a must. • Ensure that Dispatch functions occur on-time and in an orderly, efficient and effective manner. The successful candidate will possess: • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment. • Excellent interpersonal skills, mature judgment and ability to work well with others. • Proficiency in problem solving. Must be able to quickly and effectively analyze complex scenarios and find workable solutions in a rapidly changing work environment. • May require work from home during exception situations. • Must have solid decision making skills and be able to dispatch drivers effectively and timely. 2 years minimum TMW experience is preferred.
