Under general direction of the Department Chairs and reporting to the Associate Dean, provides executive level administrative support to the College of Education programs at the University Center of Greenville (UCG). Maintains a high level of confidentiality. Performs other duties as assigned. JOB DUTIES:
40% - Essential - Support for Department Chairs at the UCG: Assists department chairs in administrative tasks (meetings, disseminating information, record keeping, and other duties as deemed necessary by department chairs). Also responsible for event planning (securing meeting locations, planning break and meals, collecting meeting materials) and planning related to faculty searches (scheduling and travel for candidates, securing hotel rooms).
35% - Essential - Support for College of Education (CoE) faculty teaching at the UCG: Provides administrative and technical assistance to CoE faculty teaching at the UCG; provides assistance with travel to CoE faculty and graduate students, including registration at conferences and transportation; collects syllabi and vitae electronically from faculty and submits these to the Office of Assessment and Accreditation each semester.
15% - Essential - Financial Duties: Under oversight of CoE Fiscal Analyst, coordinates and conducts business/financial functions for the UCG. This includes processing of VISA; reconciling payroll, revenues, E and G funds, and grants; handling and processing vouchers for payment; handling/processing purchase orders, handling/processing travel, DPVs and IDOs; processing and distributing queries.
10% - Essential - UCG Support Services: Serves as point of contact at the UCG for faculty, graduate assistants, students, and visitors. Serves as UCG liaison with other departments in the University. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must be able to lift/move up to 20 lbs. WORKING CONDITIONS:
Standard Hrs: 37.5; Monday through Thursday, 9am-6:30pm; Friday, 9am-12pm.
