The Regional Account Executive will be responsible for selling the company’s services and ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue. Creates and maintains customer relationships through a variety of networking activities and providing superior customer service
Solicits freight in lanes that best fit the company and provide the best service to its customers
Manages pricing strategy by providing existing customers with spot quotes while monitoring rate increases or cost reductions based on company directives
Negotiates with customers regarding rates of services and accessorials
Build and maintain accounts
Provides superior customer service by addressing issues, correcting problems, and nurturing customer relationships
Bids freight using multiple websites and system
Sound organizational, time management skills, and attention to detail
Good interpersonal and customer service skills, well-developed verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work both as an individual contributor and a team member
