The County Agent, a member of the Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service staff, works cooperatively with other county and state staff to plan, implement, maintain and evaluate Extension education programs for county, regional and state adult and youth clientele. Performs assigned duties in compliance with philosophy, policies and procedures of Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service.
Extension Agent Assistant position to be housed in the Laurens County Extension Office. The candidate chosen to fill this position will serve as member of the statewide 4-H and youth development program team, and will be responsible for respective duties in Laurens County. Candidates should be willing to work flexible schedules.
Education - Bachelor's Degree in a relevant major is required. Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises Work of Others - Supervises work of others and may offer recommendations for hiring, termination and pay adjustments but does not have responsibility for making these decisions. Acts as Lead - Acts as a Lead by guiding the work of others who perform essentially the same work.
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitors Budget - Does not provide input but is responsible for monitoring the departmental budget and may oversee fund allocation. No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

Master's degree preferred.
Standard Hrs: 37.5; Salary commensurate with education and experience.
