Our laboratory seeks to understand the neural underpinnings of rodent behavior, using a variety of genetic, molecular, behavioral and imaging techniques. We seek to hire a technician to assist with the acquisition and analysis of behavioral data. Duties of the technician will include mouse colony maintenance, carrying out behavioral experiments under sensitive conditions, and the computational analysis of data thereby generated.
This is a 12-month term position with the possibility of renewal based on available funding and job performance. Offer contingent upon successful completion of a pre-placement medical evaluation.

At least one year related work experience (relevant course work may count towards experience).
College degree preferably in life sciences or related discipline. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills; good verbal and written communication; proficiency with computer technologies and software; the ability to take direction. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, move and transport related laboratory equipment. Must be able to work with a variety of hazardous materials. Must be able to work with and handle animals.
