Advertised Job Summary:
Under general supervision this position completes work orders that require the loading and unloading, transportation and safe handling of furniture and appliances. This position will operate warehouse equipment and large trucks to perform work and will be required to accurately complete work orders and other documents. This position will act as a lead with directing small work teams of temporary staff during the summer and other times during special projects. Acts as a lead to assist with move-in/move-out recycling programs. As a lead, this position will oversee the proper stocking of materials, supplies and tools to carry out inspections and small repairs to furniture and appliance. Maintains radio contact and communications with managers, work crews and customers. This position has been designated as essential personnel during inclement/ hazardous weather and other emergencies.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma and directly related trade experience.
