Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reads orders or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to other designated areas
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
Check gasoline tank and compare with issues
Prepares monthly warehouse issues report and monthly gasoline report
Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items
Assembles customer orders from stock
Marks materials with identifying information
Opens bales, crates, and other containers
Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
Uses computer to enter records
Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse or to pick up items from several locations for shipment or distribution
Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments
Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
Supports the values of the College: diversity, teaching excellence, student success, innovation and creativity and service to the College
