Serves on the student programming and organization advising team for TigerPaw Productions (student concert committee), Central Spirit (premier athletic support organization), and CLEMSONLiVE (student programming board). Coordinates and assists with various departmental student programming efforts. Performs other duties as assigned.
50% - Essential - Student Organization Advising: Primarily advises TigerPaw Productions and Central Spirit to facilitate and support all aspects of their organization sponsored events including, but not limited to, Homecoming, First Friday Parade, and concerts. Responsible for contract negotiations, mitigating risk, budget management, and coordinating with various campus partners to produce high quality and impactful traditional events and campus programs. Meets consistently with student leaders in TigerPaw Productions and Central Spirit to offer support, advisement, and leadership development.
20% - Essential - Student Programming: Coordinates all aspects of the summer programming series including budgeting, assessment, marketing, event planning, and risk management while ensuring program mission and goals are met. Assists with other departmental programming initiatives including U-NITES!, Barnes Center Programs, student employee training, conferences, and other special programs.
20% - Essential - GA Development: Recruits, hires, trains and manages one graduate assistant who primarily advises CLEMSONLiVE.
10% - Essential - Committees and Collaboration: Serves as a member of the Campus Activities and Events staff by meeting regularly with supervisor, attending staff meetings, participating in departmental and University-wide committees, and developing and supporting internal and external collaborative efforts.
A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.
