BusinessServices at West Virginia University is seeking a Postal Worker in Braxton Tower. This position isresponsible for preparing federal and campus mail, as well as processes toensure efficient and effective services.
In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will:
Maintain mail flow for the entire institution through campus mail, U.S. mail, registered mail, priority mail, bulk mail, 2nd class mail, certified mail, insured mail, international mail, express mail, and third party express mail and parcel services (e.g. UPS, FedEx).
Use automated tracking systems.
Receive, sort and log all types and classes of mail according to established procedures and federal, state and local regulations.
Check security and transport cash.
Provide on-demand customer service for all WVU Departments, students, faculty and staff.
Assure quality customer service by following procedures, enforcing best business practices, documenting events, making suggestions for improvements, communicating with coworkers, and asking for customer feedback.
Pay Grade: 9
High school diploma or GED
At least six (6) months of general office and computer experience is required
Any equivalent combination of experience and education that is related to the position will also be considered
Valid driver's license
