Enjoy an exciting opportunity to lead an NAEYC-accredited childcare and early learning center for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is looking for center management in Stockbridge, GA, just south east of Atlanta.
The Center Director is responsible for daily operations in accordance with state licensing regulations and The Sunshine House operating policies. He/she will help oversee the curriculum, market the program, manage personnel, and execute the company's high standards of excellence.
This position requires an extensive knowledge of childcare management and early education. In addition, the Center Director is responsible for maintaining control of the administrative, operational, financial, and logistical functions of the facility. Other requirements include excellent English verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to evaluate and solve problems in a professional manner.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and supervisory skills, a passion for providing quality care and education to children, and a talent for building relationships with families and staff.

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or other related field.
Three to five years' experience in a licensed child care facility, preferably in a NAEYC-accredited center.
State qualifications for classroom teaching and knowledge of all state licensing regulations.
Proficient computer skills in a variety of business related programs, including Microsoft Office.
Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
Valid driver's license and ability to transport children in a company bus.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and to stand, bend, stoop and squat at least 95% of the day.
Ability to hear, see and react to emergency situations within 50 feet in 15 seconds or less. And the ability to move from a seated to a standing position to quickly to respond to emergency situations.
Experience planning and preparing balanced nutritious meals for the facility.
Must be 21 years of age.
