To provide statewide 4-H program development in the area of youth programming and 4-H Horse programming on a state level. Participate as a 4-H team member and assist with all other duties as required.
30% - Essential - Youth Programming: Serve as the Advisor for the State 4-H Teen Council. Oversee Junior Weekend. Oversee Senior Teen Weekend.
20% - Essential - Alumni Programming: Develop an alumni database. Coordinate the Alumni Luncheon at the State Fair. Develop the alumni program.
15% - Essential - 4-H Horse Educational Events: Assists with Hippology, Horse Bowl, Horse Judging, Creative Arts Contest and. Horse Public Speaking Contests. Prepare contest materials. Secure volunteers to assist.
25% - Essential - State 4-H Horse Show and State 4-H Horse Camp: Conduct registration. Secure volunteers to assist and manage Camp Counselors. Assist in the implementation of the State 4-H Horse Show and Camp. Maintain Pre-Collegiate Program Office compliance and standards.
10% - Essential - Regional and National 4-H Horse Events: Assist in the coaching/preparation of state delegates for competition. Assist with the logistics for the various events. Serve as a chaperone for the event.
Masters degree and 3 to 5 years of general 4-H and 4-H Horse project experience required. State staff experience a plus.

Standard Hrs: 37.5. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
