The Used Equipment Sales Manager is responsible for all facets of used tractor and trailer equipment sales across the entire network of business units.

Team Members in our Fleet Services Department:
Support, demonstrate and maintain the business ethics policies of KAG.
Operate with integrity.
Define and deploy a used equipment strategy that maximizes return on assets.
Define and execute a used equipment evaluation process that enhances our equipment sales process.
Study and communicate trends in used equipment supply and demand.
Develop and maintain the process and procedures associated with the sale of equipment including all required paperwork to meet legal requirements.
Establish and maintain measurable performance metrics for all levels of sales activities to include, but not limited to, metrics associated with sales compared to auction, wholesale and retail prices.
Report to management the measurable status of progress of equipment sales, backlog of equipment sales, and forecasts for future sales.
Negotiate with potential buyers for the best return to Kenan Advantage Group.
Develop and maintain mutual business relationships with wholesale and retail buyers.
Determine wholesale and retail value of used equipment with supporting documentation.
Develop an overall client database which creates and sustains a path for sales of used equipment.
Assist with planning, budgeting and expense control of the used equipment value stream.
Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
Regular and timely attendance
Potential Team Members should have:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of 5-years used equipment sales management experience.
Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.
Proficient use of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Prior management experience, including the ability to motivate and direct multiple reports.
