Primary function of this position is to provide leadership and guidance to the Sales and Marketing Department on freight rates and optimization for key operating markets. This position will review all contracts, bids and proposals with each Sales Representative. Individual will provide thought leadership around understanding and analyzing our freight network and profit impact.
Manage all aspects of the daily pricing function interacting with sales, customer service and customers of American Central Transport, Inc.
Work closely with Sr Vice President Sales/Chief Marketing Officer on market trends taking place and pricing strategies to support trends
Manage cost base pricing analysis and strategy
Review contracts, bids and proposals making recommendations as needed
Develop internal reports to monitor effectiveness of pricing strategies and programs
Formulate and recommend policies and programs which guide the organization in improving its competitive position and profitability
Maintain ISO standards in all areas of Sales/Marketing
Identify and communicate market trends and pricing movements from the market place
