Performs Load Planning as well as monitor route statuses and escalates issues in an accurate and timely manner. Provides required information using the Transportation Management Systems as well as through electronic resources such as web portal and email
Acts as the first line of contact for customer's load planning and routing requirements, providing the customer with status updates as needed
Communicates effectively with customers and drivers providing concise instruction and/or information through verbal and written communication methods
Answers and processes requests received through inbound calls and emails in a timely manner
Monitors routes for exceptions/abnormal route conditions, and provides timely feedback to internal and external customers
Escalates appropriately and utilizes problem-solving techniques to address operational issues
Serves as the primary contact for data collection, audit, and reporting of various performance metrics
Supports with identification root cause analysis, suggests countermeasures, proficient use of reporting tools, and understands operational Key Performance Indicators
Provides training/mentoring to new associates
Provides oversight to workload management and acts as a point of escalation to TSS Administrators
Other tasks as assigned by Supervisors
Previous customer service experience is required. 2 year post-secondary certificate in related field is preferred. Bilingual skills (French, Spanish) are an asset.
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
