Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner.
Reviews all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met.
Provides regular communication between the client and team to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations.
Provides regular updates, input and reports to the Assistant Controller on all account activity, including status and call reports as required.
Maintain professional relationship with customer taking orders for quotes and/or loads.
Manage the terminal including maintaining/improving the physical location and for the safety and security of the property/equipment.
Provide leadership through mentoring/coaching the drivers; implement policies and procedures.
Work with Safety, HR and Risk Management on driver recruitment, retention to include providing road tests and enforcement of policies and procedures with drivers.
Current Class A CDL.
Minimum 3 years of terminal experience in a transportation setting.
Customer service related skills required.
Effective verbal and written communications are essential.
PC skills to include: MS Office software such as Excel, Work, PowerPoint and other internal management systems.
Organizational and analytical skills are required.
Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a negotiator.
Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well.
Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
Safety oriented; follows processes and procedures.
High level of integrity, accountability and ethics.
